In the summer of 2022, after an attempt at TNR for a community cat, we took in an old, mostly blind, unhealthy boy. Given his condition, we committed to keeping him safely indoors in his own room (that he refuses to leave!).

Bringing in a cat like Fielding really opened our eyes to the needs of the feral and semi-feral population of cats. Since then, we have taken in more semi-feral (and two fully feral) cats to the sanctuary.

Even though we cannot accommodate the vast need, we try to help whenever we can.
